Oakwood is an established provider of Human Resource consulting and software. Our job evaluation consultants have developed a proven process for delivering job evaluation solutions for organisations of all sizes. The process includes implementing our "Profiler" software. This is a questionnaire driven, automated role evaluation system developed by Oakwood and used to profile thousands of roles in the UK.

The approach that we use has been developed so that it is fully compliant with the Equal Pay for Work of Equal Value legislation and has been passed by an EOC independent expert.

We have developed a computerised approach because it delivers many benefits as opposed to a manual process (which involves creating detailed, narrative job descriptions that are evaluated through discussion by a job evaluation panel).

Our computerised approach:

  • Creates more consistent results

  • Cuts down on the amount of human intervention and influence that can lead to a distortion of results

  • Takes less time and resource because it cuts out the requirement for a job evaluation committee

  • Directly involves employees in completing their job analysis questionnaire

  • Leaves the client with an automated process that they can continue to operate without the need for a job evaluation team or outside consultants
