As part of its service offering
Oakwood provide a hosted facility whereby large organizations
utilizing the Oakwood applications over a number of locations
can take advantage of internet technology and provide a
centralized application managed by an external service
provider.
Other organizations consider that due to the nature of the
browser based solution provided by Oakwood, introducing
intranet and database technology and support into the
organization is best served externally without causing
disruption to other mission critical applications.

When considering a hosted solution
